Everything you need to know before you walk through our doors so you can focus on the science.
Best Time to Visit
- Weekday afternoons (Wednesday to Friday) are quietest — you get more time at each exhibit.
- Saturday mornings are popular with school groups, so expect a livelier atmosphere.
- We are open Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
What to Expect
- Plan for at least 1.5 to 2 hours to experience all 22 exhibits comfortably.
- Every exhibit is hands-on — touching, pushing, and experimenting is encouraged.
- Our staff are always nearby to guide you and answer questions.
Make the Most of It
- Start with the floor exhibits (Cyclone, Laser Maze) early before crowds build up.
- Read the exhibit labels — they explain the science in plain, simple language.
- Ask our science guides for a live demonstration of the Tesla Coil or Van de Graaff Generator.
A Few Reminders
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended for comfort and safety.
- Do not touch electrical exhibits unless instructed by staff.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Recommended Visit Duration
Allow 90 minutes to 2 hours for a relaxed, thorough visit. Groups with children may want to plan for a little extra time — the exhibits have a way of sparking long conversations.
